Danny James Pawletzki
December 1, 1957 ~ March 1, 2023
On March 1 st , 2023, Danny Pawletzki, a life-long resident of Aurora, Colorado who
lived a happy and adventurous life, passed away at the age of 65 after a courageous
battle with lung cancer. Danny died peacefully in his sleep at the Denver Hospice
Center.
Danny was born on December 1 st , 1957, in Erlangen, Germany. At age 19, he served
his country and was a proud member of the Army National Guard for 6 years. Those
who knew him were no stranger to his passion for aviation, which first began during
his time serving as an Aircraft Armament Subsystem Mechanic, and this passion
persisted throughout much of his life. Danny was a successful and accomplished IT
Engineer for over 25 years and was also known as the family's personal IT Tech.
Danny loved the outdoors, fishing, camping, grilling, and playing horseshoes. He
enjoyed reading books, online gaming, and being the jokester of the bunch. And of
course, Danny had a passion for music and playing the drums and bass guitar with
some of his closest friends. Most of all, Danny loved spending time with his family
and loved ones.
He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, June, sons, Adam (Kathleen), Nicholas,
Michael, and Matthew, daughter, Kimberly (Thunder), brother, Mike (Chris), sisters,
Carrie and Tanya (Dave), Aunt Lilo, his beloved pets, Jazzie Girl and Caitlan Marie,
along with many loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family. Danny
was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend to everyone - no
matter who they were. Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Dave and Christa
Ramsey, and sister Carmen.
His smile, laugh, outrageous sense of humor, and caring nature will be greatly missed
by all who were blessed to know him.
