Eric Segovia
Dec 9, 1975 — Feb 17, 2020
Eric Segovia went home to be with the Lord on February 17,2020. He is survived by his mother, Linda Carrizales , his daughter, Rose Beatriz Segovia and Elizabeth Mortimer, his former partner. Tayo Carrizales, his son, preceded him in death.
The little boy saw the open space before him and started running. He was on the go until he wasn't. Eric was born on December 9, 1975. He graduated from Jesuit College Prep, attended The College of Santa Fe, watched and participated in numerous sporting events, and developed an extensive knowledge of music. Not only did Eric express himself by painting, he also built a career as a Chef, working in some of the best restaurants in the Denver metro area.
Eric has lived in Dallas, Santa Fe, Boulder County, Denver and lastly in Lakewood. Eric and Liz, his partner of ten years, although separated a year ago, spent their summers and much of their free time seeing Phish and live music all over the country making countless friends and memories.
He will be missed by his "Sisters", his many, many cousins, his aunts and uncles, his fabulous friends, Liz, Rose and of course, his Mom. Previous Events
