A Cherished Life and Legacy

• In loving memory of our Mother Genoveva Mendez born July 5,1937 and left us August 12, 2026, she was a loving mother, Grandmother and friend to all her laughter and smile was like no other her memories and love will always remain in our hearts.

• She had 89 blessed years of wonderful loving life she was a faithful woman to our Lord and Savior always had her faith in prayer and always enjoyed watching her religious movies day in and day out with her cup of coffee and loving cat right next to her.

• She will truly be missed by her loving children Deborah Yrurralde, Vincent Gurule and Leonard Gurule, Amalia Gurule and many grandchildren as well great grand children

• She now home and reunite with her loving Parents Cristóbal and Leonarda Yrurralde and brother Roman, Candida and Beatrice and infant brother we never knew until we all meet again we all love you Mom ...

A memorial service will be held at Romero Funeral Home 4750 Tejon St. Denver, CO 80211 on September 2, 2026, at 2:00 pm. 

A Celebration of Life in honor of Genoveva Mendez will take place at Villa West Apartments September 12th, 2026, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm 450 South Carr Avenue Lafayette, Colorado.
