George Dean "Georgie" Lawrence, 21, of Denver, Colorado, passed away on March 30, 2026. Born on February 7, 2005, in Phoenix, Arizona, George brought light and joy to those around him throughout his life. George attended Centennial Elementary, Skinner Jr. High, Denver North High, Strive Prep Academy, Academy of Urban Learning and Glendale Community College where he received his High School Diploma. His dedication to learning and his ability to master anything he set his mind to defining traits that left a lasting impression on all who knew him. George had a deep love for music and sports and cherished time spent with family and friends. He also had a passion for traveling, embracing new experiences with enthusiasm. Above all else, George looked forward to building a future with his beloved daughter, Analaya. His devotion to her was evident. He is survived by his beautiful daughter Analaya, loving parents, Gerardina Lawrence and George Lawrence; his siblings, Alexander, Kara, Tommy Georgette Debian and Alexa. And brother from another mother, Matt Sparks. George was proceeded in death by his Great-grandmother Theresa Martinez, Grandfather Tommy Lawrence, and Uncle Larry Perez. George's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. May his legacy bring comfort and strength to all who mourn his passing.
A visitation will take place on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at 9:30 am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Italian Catholic Church located at 3549 Navajo St, Denver, CO 80211. A rosary service will follow the visitation at 10:30 am. A funeral mass will follow at 11:00 am. George will be laid to rest at Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery, located at 12801 W 44th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033 at 1:00 pm following the mass. A reception to honor his life will follow back at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Italian Catholic Church.
