Helen Rachel Sanchez

Helen Rachel Sanchez went to be with the Lord on June 28, 2019. She was born to Fred Valdez and Emma Amato in Trinidad, Colorado on January 22, 1942. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Debbie; son, Carlos Jr and granddaughter, Annitra. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Carlos S; daughter Mary Helen & her husband, Gustavo; daughter in-law Lori; grandson, Joseph; and 7 great grandchildren, Ellena, Louis, Patrick, Leanna, Jacob, Aiyanna & Bella and her sisters, Christine and Ernestine. Helen loved her family and friends but she really LOVED HER GRANDCHILDREN! She loved cooking & baking for everyone. She enjoyed listening to her music, singing, and dancing. She had such marvelous memories of Carlos and her dancing together when they were younger. Her family described her as very loving, caring, funny, and beautiful. She always had a smile on her face!
