John Rivera

John Rivera passed away in Denver on November 17th at the age of 72. He was preceded in death by his parents Francisco and Margarita Rivera, and brother; Rudy Rivera. Remaining to cherish his memory are his wife Esther Rivera and his children; Carol (Simon) Delgado, Julie Rivera-Poitra, Christine (Leo) Lucero, Stephanie (Joe) Gomez. Siblings; Frank (Gloria) and Manuel (Mary). Grandchildren; Nicole, Josiah, Chris, Ashley, Gabriel, Gabriel Moore, Daniel, Tianna, Rae-Lee, Torri-Lynn, Christal, Joey, Jacob, Paul, Alyssa, Silas and Timothy. Great- grandchildren; Isaiah, Christina, Dominick, Sergio, Justyce, Raemya, Ezekiel, Shea, Salvador, Alejandro, Aurelius and Naveah. Many other loving nieces, nephews and cousins. John loved his family unconditionally, he was the best provider and husband, a handy man, he enjoyed his music, donuts and ushering. He was a strong, patient and loving dad, husband and grandfather. He endured to the end. He will be greatly missed by his immediate and extended family friends. Funeral service will be on Tuesday, November 24th, 2015 at Thrive Church, 2820 West 92nd Avenue with Viewing from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00, and Funeral Service at 11:00 A.M. Interment to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Reception to follow the interment at Thrive Church Reception Hall.
