Jon Allen Rogers

Jon Allen Rogers June 22, 1946 ~ January 16, 2019 Jon Allen Rogers was born June 22, 1946 in Sedgwick County Colorado. Jon was the only son of Jean (Lott) and Wilbur Rogers of Julesburg Colorado, and loving brother to Judy Brock (Rogers-deceased.) Jon spent the majority of his young life in Julesburg where he enjoyed music, drama and any activity that was not football. Jon graduated from Julesburg high school in 1964, then moved to Greeley Colorado to obtain his bachelors degree at the University of Northern Colorado. Jon married and had three daughters. After many years of varying career paths Jon moved into a position with the internal revenue service in Denver Colorado where he continued to work until retirement. Jon was loved by his wife, Sandra Sue Jorgenson; 5 Children, 2 Son-in-Laws, 1 Daughter-in-Law; 13 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren. A Celebration of his life will be on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 10am, at Romero Funeral Home ~ Chapel of Repose, 15150 E. Iliff Ave., Aurora, Colorado. Reception to follow at the Reception Hall, Family request In-Lieu of flowers, donations could be made in his name to the radio station KUVO.org; any Democratic Female Candidate or any Children's Amputee Center of your choice.
