In Loving Memory of

Leroy David Greenemeier

June 20, 1969 – October 4, 2026

Leroy David Greenemeier was born on June 20, 1969, in Denver, Colorado, to Mitzi Marie Means and Joseph Bernard Greenemeier. Leroy lived a life filled with hard work, memorable moments, and a love for the things that brought him happiness. He will be remembered for the life he lived and the family he loved.

Leroy worked as a construction worker for Kiewit and Nelson Pipeline, dedicating himself to his work and taking pride in what he did. Outside of work, Leroy enjoyed living life to the fullest. He loved fishing, camping, listening to music, dancing, bowling, playing pool, and working on his car. Whether he was enjoying the outdoors, listening to his favorite music, spending time on his hobbies, or simply being around the people he loved, Leroy found joy in life's everyday moments.

Above all, Leroy loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. His family was an important part of his life, and the memories they shared will forever hold a special place in their hearts. The laughter, conversations, family gatherings, and moments spent together will remain treasured reminders of the bond they shared with him.

Leroy is survived by his three beloved children: his son, Joseph Rodrick John Greenemeier; his daughter, Ashley Janine Greenemeier; and his son, John Michael Greenemeier.

He leaves behind twelve cherished grandchildren: Olivia Marie Greenemeier, Devonna Marie Greenemeier, Joseph Rodrick John Greenemeier Jr., Joel Anthony Lee Greenemeier, Aviani Cherise Greenemeier, Josias Juan Vincent Greenemeier, Jovanni John Michael Greenemeier, Angela Danine Alires, Adrean Poette Alires, Amberlynn Rose Alires, John Michael Greenemeier Jr., and Robert Greenemeier.

His legacy continues through his beloved great-grandchildren, Nicolas and Onalyeah, who carry forward the love and connection of the generations that follow him.

Though Leroy will be deeply missed, his memory will live on through the family he leaves behind and the countless moments that made him who he was. His love for the outdoors, music, dancing, and his favorite pastimes will remain part of the memories shared by those who knew him. Most importantly, the love he shared with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren will continue to live on from one generation to the next.

While saying goodbye is never easy, the memories of Leroy's life will remain a lasting reminder of the time they were blessed to share with him. He will forever hold a place in the hearts of his family, and his memory will continue to be carried forward through those who loved him.

Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.

Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever remembered.
