Leroy loved his family and also loved playing and watching sports. He was amongst the first in Denver to purchase tickets to the Broncos and was a long-time season ticket holder. He thoroughly enjoyed sharing this activity with family. Leroy was also an avid fitness advocate. He was continuously exercising, well before it was trendy to do so. He loved jogging around Sloan's Lake, riding his bicycle and had a long-time membership at a fitness club. Though he wasn't the tallest guy on the court, he was an accomplished basketball player. Leroy was a self-made man. He was a painter by trade and finished his working career at AT&T. Leroy was a wonderful and wise human being with a great sense of humor. He was loved and respected by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.
