Lucinda Marie Correa

Jun 27, 1955 — Feb 8, 2020

Lucinda Marie Correa (Cindy), age 64 of Brighton Colorado was born on June 27, 1955 and went home to be with The Lord on February 8, 2020. She is the daughter of the late Maximillion and Virginia Mascarenas and wife to the late Apolinar (Paul) Correa. Together Apolinar and Cindy had one son Paul Correa. She is the Sister to Ronald Gonzales (spouse Vincenta), Cheryl Scheffel (spouse Bob), Rosemarie Mascarenas- Serrano (Late spouse Gerard), the late Maxine Harper (spouse Richard), and her youngest sister Bernadette Wyse (spouse Darren). Cindy was a God- Mother to Angelina, Alexandra and Stefen. She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and several cousins as well. She grew up in Denver Colorado, born at Mercy Hospital which just happens to be the same hospital her husband Paul was born at a couple years earlier. It appears that Paul and Cindy where destined to be together. Growing up in the same neighborhood they turned out to be high school sweethearts. Later Paul went off to join the Navy, but they always kept in touch, then the day came when they were reunited and got married and stayed together for 41 years to be exact. Cindy was always willing to lend an ear and a helping hand, whether it was shoulder to cry on, a babysitter or even a place to live. She loved her music, people would joke that she had more records (45's) than the radio station Kool 105. She knew the artist and the lyrics to all her music. She would sing every song from the oldies, pop, country and even Spanish. She also loved to dance, her mom and she would get out on that dance floor and dance to their hearts were content, to music such as the song Kansas City and Cumbias. Let us not forget Paul her other dancing partner, not only on the dance floor but for Life. Lucinda (Cindy) you are now in heaven with all the ones you love whether it is with the ones who passed before you or the ones that you are watching over from above, you will be forever missed. Love you with all of our hearts, YOU ARE SO BEAUTIFUL. Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date due to the Covid 19 virus. Events Details are pending.
