Manuel Leonard Velasquez, Jr., 53 of Denver Our beloved father Manuel Leonard Velasquez, Jr., passed into eternal life on May 7, 2017 at his home in Denver, Colorado. Manuel was born on November 5, 1963 to his parents Ernestine Szabo and Manuel Velasquez. Manuel is preceded in death by two brothers, Bud and Stacey. To continue to cherish the precious memories are his daughters, Christina (Carlos) Luna, Rhianna (Michael) Montoya and Vanessa Smith (Vincent McCauley). 12 grandchildren, Mariah Gabriel, Naveah, Carlos, Josiah, Raquel, Michael, Melody, Antonio, Mya, Ceriah, Asacia and Jaylene. Parents, Father Manuel Lee (Delores) Velasquez, and Mother Ernestine (Stephen) Szabo. 3 siblings, Juanita Velasquez, Alan Velasquez and John Velasquez. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends. Visitation, Wednesday, May 24, 2017 from 9:00am to 10:00am, with a Funeral Service to follow at 10:00am at Romero Funeral Chapel 4750 Tejon Street, Denver, Colorado 80211.
