A YOUNG LIFE TAKEN TOO SOON

With deep sorrow and immense love, our family announces the passing of our beloved Marcos Martinez, who left us on March 27, 2025 at the age of 27.

Marcos was born on February 20, 1998 in Denver Colorado, and from the very beginning, he brought warmth, laughter, and light into the lives of everyone who knew him. He was known for his kindness, sense of humor, big heart, and he had a unique way of making people feel truly seen and loved.

He is survived by his parents Gilberto Martinez & Guadalupe Soto, His sister Perla Nixon, His brothers Carlos Martinez and Abraham Martinez and his beloved nieces and nephews Ashley Nixon, Jazlene Martinez, Joshua Nixon, Ajiani Martinez, Jaylene Martinez, Naima Nixon & Ian Arizpe, he will be deeply missed by his entire family, many friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him. To us, Marcos was more than a son, a brother, or a relative—he was a part of our hearts and the soul of our home.

A service to honor and celebrate Marcos’s life will be held on April 18, 2025 at Romero Funeral Home. All who knew and loved him are welcome to join us in remembering the incredible person he was.
