In Loving Memory of Mark S. Trujillo December 3, 1964 – July 24, 2025

Mark S. Trujillo passed away on July 24, 2025, at the age of 60. The beloved son of Carlos and Victoria Trujillo—both of whom preceded him in death—Mark grew up in West Denver, surrounded by the love of family and friends. He attended Fairmont Elementary School, Baker Middle School, and graduated from West High School.

A proud United States Marine, Mark served his country with honor and dedication, stationed in Twentynine Palms, California, and Okinawa, Japan. After his honorable discharge from the Marines, Mark worked as a pressman for many years until the industry became automated. He then transitioned into machinist positions, where he found fulfillment using his math skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Mark was an avid reader who gravitated toward the imaginative worlds of science fiction and the bold artistry of graphic novels. His passion for music spanned all genres, and he also found joy in drawing and writing poetry. Mark was an animal lover, particularly fond of cats. As a child, he often brought home stray animals, and as an adult, he continued his compassion by feeding stray cats in his neighborhood.

Known for his sharp wit and infectious humor, Mark was the life of every gathering, often filling rooms with laughter. His ever-present smile reflected the warmth and joy he carried wherever he went. At the same time, Mark was a thoughtful and introspective soul who valued deep, meaningful conversations and reflective thought.

He is survived by his siblings: Sandra Trujillo-Larsen, Angie Luna, Benita Ortega, Carlos Trujillo, and Martha Estrada-Villegas, along with numerous Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends, all of whom will forever cherish his memory and vibrant energy.

Mark’s legacy lives on in the love he gave, the life he led, and the courage he showed. Rooted in family, his spirit will always remain in our hearts.
