Mary S. Escobedo

Jun 16, 1935 — Jul 26, 2026

Mary Socorro Ramirez passed away surrounded by the love of the family she devoted her life to. A deeply spiritual woman, Mary lived each day with unwavering faith, kindness, and compassion. She believed in the power of prayer and never judged or condemned others, choosing instead to pray for them and offer encouragement whenever it was needed. Mary was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose caring heart knew no limits. She would do anything for anyone, without exception, and her home and heart were always open to those in need. Whether someone needed a place to stay, a helping hand, or simply someone to listen, Mary was always there. She was especially supportive of her family and served as a constant source of strength, comfort, and unconditional love. Her generosity, selflessness, and ability to make everyone feel welcomed left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Mary was blessed with seven children: Lorraine, Linda, Gloria, Jake, Yolanda, Silvia, and Ruth. She was preceded in death by Gloria, Jake, Yolanda, and Silvia and is lovingly survived by her daughters Lorraine, Linda, and Ruth. She is also survived by her brothers, Lincoln and Jesse, and was preceded in death by her brother Joe. Mary’s greatest joy was her family, and her legacy continues through her numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and friends whose lives she touched with her love and unwavering faith. Though she will be deeply missed, her compassion, generosity, and example of living a life centered on faith and service to others will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. May she rest in eternal peace.
