Melly David Gomez Sunrise: July 24th, 1976 Sunset: July 7th, 2017 It is with deepest, sorrow and heartbreaking emotions that we share the passing of our son Melly. Melly's life ended on July 7th, 2017, after a long hard battle of Pneumonia which led him to develop a condition called ARDs (acute respiratory distress syndrome). His battle started with his first hospitalization on June 4th, lasting 5 days. Then with a re-entry to the hospital on June 15th, which kept him in the hospital for 23 days of his extended stay. The ARDs along with the pneumonia were way too advanced in his lungs to allow his life to continue. He fought his very hardest to stay with us. He fought through all the heavy sedation just to have one last chance to say how much he loved us, and to say his last goodbye! He was such a beautiful, loving and caring son, brother and uncle. We will cherish his love for us and ours for him with every breath of our remaining lives. We love you Melly!!!! As a family, we chose to grieve privately and lay Melly to rest during a private service with just his immediate family.
