Norma Jean Abeyta

Norma Jean Abeyta passed away May 14th, 2024, in Denver Colorado surrounded with family. She was born on December 08, 1944, in Trinidad, Colorado, she attended Trinidad area Schools. Norma married Bill Gonzales and they raised their 3 children Rick, Dennis and Sherry in Denver Colo.

She was an avid Bronco fan, but also an even more avid Nuggets fan in her golden years! 

Over the years Norma enjoyed attending Bronco games, going "Up the hill" (gambling), camping and fishing. also spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her children Rick (Tia) Gonzales, Dennis Gonzales (Annabel), Sherry (Joe) Arguello, 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren, Sister-in-laws Josephine Abeyta, Beverly Gonzales, Rosalie Zook, with numerous nieces and nephews

Preceding Norma in death "Our" Dad Bill Gonzales, parents Jess and Esther Abeyta, brothers Max, Sonny & Ronnie Abeyta, sister-in-law Judy Abeyta, and brother-in-law Jim Gonzales.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday May 22,2024 at Romero's Funeral Home & Cremations 4750 Tejon St. Denver, Co 80211, 10:00 AM. Reception to follow.
