Rafilita was born on March 22, 1926 to Gavino and Sinforosa Vialpando in Walsenburg, CO. Rafilita is survived by her children, Jerry and Frances Montoya, Gloria and Jim, Rosalie and David Valdez, Richard and Zandra Gomez, Danny and Nancy Gomez, Liz Chacon and Jimmy Gomez. Is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; daughters, Lucy and Priscilla; son, Ralph. She had 21 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 11 great great grandchildren.
