Sophie Ida Tafoya

Sophie Ida Tafoya was born on November 22, 1925 in New Mexico. She is preceded in death by her parents Jose Abeyta and Rafaelita Sisneros; sons Max and Sam Trujillo; siblings Mary Medina, Isabelle Archuleta, Ernestina Mondragon, Emma Tafoya, Rosella Romero and Olmedo Abeyta Jr. She is survived by her husband Max Tafoya; children Larry Trujillo,Sally (Bob) Acosta,DeeAnn Trujillo,Patsy Escalera (Ralph ),and Valerie Escalera; 23 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren. Sophie will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her. Mom loved fishing, crocheting, singing, being with her family. Her favorite color purple. A true believer of God!! We love you !!
