Victor was born on February 16, 1968 in Bellavista, Lima-Perú, the son of Doa Iraida Huaranga and Don Alberto Cambana, being the youngest of five siblings.
Victor was called by the family "Pepe" because he was cute like a popular doll in Peru. His childhood was very active (intelligent, playful, naughty and sporty). The sport that he loved since childhood was soccer and had a magnificent skill for this sport. He was chosen to play on behalf of the "Cantolao team of Callao" and in the United States in the "Club of Peru."
Victor had a formidable education in the "Colegio San Antonio Marianistas de Varones," subsequently entering the "Escuela Militar Leoncio Prado" and later arriving the United States of North America in 1985.
Victor never married, nor had children, but adored his nephews and every child who approached him; he accepted them with much love. He cared a lot about others. He loved to watch sports and was a fan of the soccer "Peruvian National team," "Sport Boys of Callao," of the Denver Broncos," the "Denver Nuggets" and the" Colorado Rockies. "
In 1988, unfortunately he suffered an accident, which changed his life completely after having had an active life full of studies, fun, friends, soccer, and work. He spent almost six months in intensive care, then his recovery progressed slowly with effort and perseverance, but could not be the same Victor before his accident, due to physical limitations on the left side of the body. The years went by and he always hoped that one day he would walk normal and play soccer again. Despite his challenges, he was always willing to go to his physical therapies and was loved by the professionals and caregivers who cared for him. Victor never gave up... He was a warrior!
Victor lived a simple life and loved to be surrounded by family and friends, especially with his mother and siblings. At his last family reunion, he commented several times that he was happy to see the family gathered together.
Victor (Pepe) will be remembered for being a generous person with a huge heart full of love. His departure was unexpected and fast and ceased to exist last April 17th in his home in Denver, Colorado.
He left wonderful memories to each one who met him and especially his beloved mother and siblings, Ivan, Teresa, Rosana and Adela.
"Your absence has left an immense emptiness, but for those of us who love you, you will never cease to exist, and being believers in the Almighty, we know that you departed to a heavenly space of which all of us belong. " Previous Events
