Elizabeth Jane Moscrip

Elizabeth Jane Gailband (Betty), 84, of Fruitland, Idaho passed away on February 25th, 2026, surrounded by members of her beloved family.  She was born on August 24, 1941, in National City, California. Betty was known for her love of people and music she worked as an educator around the world for 37 years before marrying Douglas Moscrip in 2001. They made their home in Fruitland, Idaho. She was a generous and cherished member of the community.  Her life was made full by her fierce love and enjoyment of her three children, Jennifer Jasso (Anthony), Michael Yonker (Mary), and Cyndee Orcutt (Dusty); several nieces and nephews, Leigh Simmons (Ken), Diana Luoma (Shannon), Scott Moscrip (Carmen), Mark Moscrip (Angela), Michael Moscrip (Sara), Lori Merritt (Hunter), and Charles Gailband (Diana); brother Michael Gailband (Patricia), and 28 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and numerous cousins.  A Celebration of Life was held on February 28, 2026, at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, Ontario, Oregon.
