Floyd Steven (Steve) Davis, 72, of Grand View, Idaho died Tuesday September 8, 2026, at St. Luke's Boise Medical Center.

Steve was born December 17, 1953, in Twin Falls, Idaho, the son of Clifford and Sarah Davis. He attended and graduated from school in Dietrich, Idaho. He married his high school sweetheart, Bonnie Allred, on June 29, 1974. They were sealed in the Ogden Utah LDS Temple on July 13, 1977.

They lived in Jerome for 14 years where he was a machine mechanic for Tupperware specializing in injection molding. When Tupperware closed, the family moved to Utah where he worked for BD Medical until he retired in 2017. They moved to Grand View, Idaho after retirement to return to their rural Idaho farm roots and to be closer to family.

Steve loved his family. He loved traveling with his wife and spending time with his kids, grandkids, and great grandchild. He loved spoiling his pets. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, camping, fishing, and reading. Steve could fix or build anything which his kids greatly appreciated. He was always there to help and teach his kids and grandkids about construction, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical work.

Survivors include his wife Bonnie of Grand View and his 4 children. Heather (Will) Field of Grand View, Daniel (Mary) Davis of Manning, South Carolina, Chris Davis of Moroni, Utah, and Jennifer Davis of Lehi, Utah. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 2 brothers, Stewart (Zona) Davis of Madras, Oregon, Greg (Donna) Davis of Buhl, Idaho, and sister Anita King of Garland, Utah. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11am Thursday, September 17, 2026, at the Grand View LDS chapel 37873 HWY 78, Grand View, ID. A viewing will be held at 10am preceding the funeral. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Grand View.
