Ingrid Pacheco
Jun 12, 1941 — Sep 11, 2026
Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Ingrid Thyra Anderson Pacheco, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2026, at the age of 85. She was born to Edward Abner and Elma Caroline Anderson on June 12,1941.
Her greatest joy was her family. She was the loving mother of three children: Jeri Olearain, Scott Pacheco, and Christy Tracy. She was also a cherished grandmother to 16 grandchildren and a beloved great-grandmother to 13 great-grandchildren. Her family was a tremendous source of love and happiness throughout her life.
Birthdays, holidays, and Sunday family dinners were especially important to Ingrid. She treasured these times when family could come together, share a meal, celebrate one another and simply enjoy being together. These gatherings created countless memories that her family will always cherish.
Ingrid was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Her faith in Jesus Christ was at the center of her life. She loved the gospel and found strength and comfort in her testimony of the Savior and in the knowledge that families can be together forever.
Throughout her life, Ingrid served faithfully in all the organizations of the Church. Her callings in the Young Women organization held a special place in her heart, and she cherished every opportunity to teach, guide, and love the young women she served. Her dedication to the Church and to those around her was a meaningful expression of her faith.
Ingrid worked in payroll at First Security Bank, where she took an early retirement; and then in collections at Salt Lake Credit Union until her retirement in 2006. She took pride in her work and in the many years she devoted to her career.
She was preceded in death by Charles (Chuck) Pacheco, Scott Pacheco, Skyler Pacheco, Shad Tracy, and Steeler Tracy.
We will remember her for her faith, her love for her family, her service in the Church, and the lasting example she set for everyone who knew her.
She will be deeply loved, dearly missed, and forever remembered.
Special thanks to all the staff at The Cottages Assisted Living Center, Horizon Hospice, St Lukes in Boise and Mountain Home, who took amazing care of her during her last month of life.
