Janice Mary Huebert

1939 — 2026

Our beloved mother, Janice Mary Huebert, joined her true love, Lyle, on June 4, 2026. While our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in knowing she is reunited with her beloved husband and at peace once again.

Janice was born on September 21, 1939, in Pennsylvania. At the age of six, her family moved to Glenns Ferry, Idaho, where she grew up near the Catholic Church and was affectionately known by local children as the “preacher’s daughter.”

Janice attended school in Glenns Ferry, where she was active in clubs and sports. At 16, she met Lyle Huebert, and the two quickly fell in love. They were married on May 24, 1958, shortly after her graduation. Together, they welcomed two daughters, Laurie and Teri, and Janice also opened her heart and family to Lesa Phipps and Mark Moore.

Janice spent the first years of her marriage as a devoted homemaker before pursuing a successful career in real estate. She worked for Cameron Real Estate, Century 21, and later ERA Westwind, where she worked alongside her daughter Teri until 2002.

After retiring, Janice enjoyed spending time between Idaho and her vacation home in Bullhead City, Arizona. Following Lyle’s passing in 1996, she missed him deeply, but continued to find joy in family, shopping, casinos, and the moments that made life feel lively.

Christmas was always the heart of her and her family’s joy and togetherness. Janice made it so. It didn’t matter who came to celebrate; she always had a gift for everyone. She always had something special prepared, and that thoughtful spirit is something we’ll all remember and cherish.

Janice is survived by her daughters Laurie Bullard, Teri Huebert, Lesa Phipps, her son Mark Moore. Her grandchildren; Corie, Melissa, AJ, Kyle, Lauren, Ashley, Amnber, and Dalliyn. She is also survived by her sister Patty; and sisters-in-law Elaine (Mike McGilvary) and Helen (John Drew).

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lyle; her parents, Phyllis and Bernie Harkins, Gordon Lenninger, and Paul Anderson; her in-laws, Sadie and John Huebert; and several beloved brothers- and sisters-in-law.
