“Nanay” was grandmother to 16 grandchildren and great-grandmother to more. Her heart was big— no one ever left hungry or empty-handed (especially with one or two already peeled clementines), and she spent her life pouring herself into working hard to help family scattered across the world. She was strong, loyal, protective, a fearless hard worker, and dreamed big for her family. What a gift it was to be loved by her. She will be missed and never forgotten by all that had the opportunity to know her.
