Russell Clark Buchanan

Russell Clark Buchanan, age 70, of Mountain Home, Idaho, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2026.

He was born on January 20, 1956, in Banning, California. After attending school in Banning, he began his career in construction which took him throughout the United States, including Hawaii and Alaska. He was in high demand as a layout man for the framing crews. His quick wit and sarcastic humor kept everyone entertained. 

Russ married his true love, Coralee Myers, November 26, 1977, in Las Vegas; a big payoff for them both. 

They settled in Muntain Home, Idaho where he continued building as RCB Construction for nearly 30 more years. 

Russell loved the outdoors, with passion for hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his daughter heather (Kristi), his son Kristian Buchanan, and grandchildren Scottlyn Buchanan, Marc Dobson, and Makailynn Clark, his two sisters Denise McGuire, Diane (James) Sanchez, a brother Jack (Teresa) Buchanan and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins who loved him dearly. 

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Coralee Buchanan.
