In Loving Memory of Steeler Tracy

September 5, 2008 – July 31, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved son, Steeler Tracy, who passed away on July 31, 2026, at the age of 17.

Steeler was proudly named after the Pittsburgh Steelers, a name that reflected the strength, determination, and loyalty he carried throughout his life. He brought joy, laughter, and kindness to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His generous heart, infectious smile, and caring spirit left a lasting impression on all who crossed his path.

Steeler was preparing to begin one of the greatest journeys of his life by serving his country in the United States Army. He looked forward to wearing the uniform with pride and honor, eager to dedicate himself to serving others and building a bright future. Although he was taken from us before he could begin that chapter, his courage, patriotism, and commitment will always be remembered.

Steeler worked for Simplot, where he cared for and fed baby calves. He took great pride in his work and was known for his compassion, dedication, and strong work ethic. He truly loved working with everyone at Simplot and valued the friendships he built with his coworkers. Whether caring for animals or lending a helping hand to those around him, he always gave his best and brought a positive attitude to every day.

Above all, Steeler loved his family. He will be remembered for his warm heart, his sense of humor, his strength, and the unconditional love he shared with those closest to him. Though his time with us was far too short, the memories he created and the love he gave will remain in our hearts forever.

Steeler is survived by his loving father and mother, Dave and Christy Tracy; his sisters, Chrislin, Aryanna, and Alexie; his brothers, Gerrit and Ashton; his beloved girlfriend, Arian; his grandmother, Ingrid Pacheco; his maternal figure, Shawnna; his cherished nieces and nephew; his sisters-in-law; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were blessed by knowing him.

He was preceded in death by his beloved brother, Shad Tracy; his grandfather, Charles Pacheco; and his grandmother, Georgia LeFluere.

Services will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Rost Funeral Home, 500 N. 18th E., Mountain Home, Idaho. Following the service, family and friends are invited to gather for a luncheon at 1150 North 8th East, Mountain Home, Idaho, to share memories, celebrate Steeler's life, and support one another.

Though our hearts are broken by this unimaginable loss, we take comfort in knowing that Steeler's love, laughter, and spirit will live on through the many lives he touched. He will always be remembered for his kindness, his determination, and the bright future he dreamed of.

Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever in our hearts.
