Ellen Arline Wittman

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ellen Wittman, a loving mother, and an incredibly beautiful woman. Ellen's slow 13 year decline due to a traumatic brain injury came to an end on May 12, 2026. She was 70 years old.

Born on November 15th,1955, to Harold and Louise Levy in Brooklyn, NY, she joined her brother Armand as the family’s first and only baby girl, instantly becoming the apple of their eyes.

With a nurturing spirit, she always knew that she wanted to be a mother, and she and Chuck were blessed with three precious babies in Alexis, Jameson, and Micaela. Her deep devotion throughout their childhood years will forever live on in their hearts.

Before her injury, her kindness and compassion touched the lives of many, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Even after her cognition had diminished, her pure heart shone brighter than ever as she was a beacon of kindness and warmth to all around her. May her spirit continue to inspire us all to make the most of every single day that we are given, and forever honor the legacy of a remarkable woman who made a lasting impact while she enjoyed life in this world.

A memorial service to celebrate Ellen's life will be held on July 18th at 12pm AZ Mountain Time at the Samaritan Funeral Home located at 1505 E McDowell Rd, Phoenix AZ 85006
