Karen Louise Murray

Oct 4, 1945 — Feb 10, 2026

Karen Murray (née Wiezbicki), age 80, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2026, in Phoenix, Arizona.

Born October 4, 1945, in Ohio, Karen was the only child of Edward and Grace Wiezbicki. She remained deeply devoted to her parents throughout their lives and was always there to support and care for them.

Karen was lively, quick witted, and known for her sharp sense of humor. More than anything, she loved her family and friends. She was the adored wife of the late Allan Murray, his cutie pie, and a devoted mother. She is survived by her three daughters, Heather Killeen, Holly Murray, and Sarah Hiris, along with their families, and five grandchildren.

She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, going out for a good meal, shopping, traveling, and losing herself in a good book. She especially loved traveling to Hawaii, a place that brought her happiness and peace. She was creative and hands on, and she took pride in making things for the people she

loved. Time spent with family was always what mattered most to her, and those moments created lasting memories for everyone who knew her.

In recent years, Karen faced Parkinson’s disease with quiet strength and resilience. Her family is deeply grateful to the many caregivers, friends, and loved ones who offered compassion and support along the way.

No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation: https://www.parkinson.org
