Phyllis Marie (Bolino) Johnson was born on December 28, 1938, in Glen Cove, NY and passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on May 10, 2026 in Mesa, AZ. She grew up in Lynn, MA and spent the majority of her life in Leominster, MA before moving to El Dorado of Sun City in Arizona. Phyllis dedicated nearly 40 years of her life to teaching in the Business Education Department of Leominster High School and eventually became the Department Head. She was the Office Education Association and Future Business Leaders of America advisor and helped to establish a student banking program. She was a mentor and inspiration to countless young people throughout her career. She was known for her generosity, kindness, wit, wisdom, strong opinions and unwavering support of students, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 56 years, Edward R. Johnson of Leominster, MA and her cherished brother, John Bolino of Norman, OK. Phyllis was a devoted and loving mother to her two daughters, Leslie Aletheia and Kelli Johnson, both of Phoenix, AZ. She also leaves behind her treasured grandsons, Soren Aletheia-Zomlefer, Thayer Aletheia-Zomlefer and Logan Kenny as well as her dedicated sons-in-law, Jay Zomlefer and Jason Weed. Phyllis will be remembered as a wonderful mother and grandmother, an extraordinary and dedicated educator, and a dear friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. The fond memories she created and the many lives she influenced will create a precious legacy that will never be forgotten.
