Renee Lipton

Renee was born in Jersey City, NJ, on March 26, 1933, to Ruth and Harry Levine. She graduated from New York University and went on to work as a typesetter at Reader’s Digest, Packard Press, and McGraw Hill. 

Renee raised her children, Susan, and Bob, in Carmel, NY, and eventually moved to Mt. Kisco, NY, where she spent most of her life. She enjoyed many things throughout her life, including knitting, crocheting, reading, baking, and, most of all, spending time with her children and grandchildren. 

Renee passed away peacefully on September 21, 2026, at the age of 93, in Maricopa, AZ. 

She was predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Domenica Lipton, and brothers-in-law Marvin Fitzer and Bob Gold. Renee is survived by her sisters, Janet (Gold), Elaine (Fitzer), and Anita Levine; her children, Susan (Ed) Harris and Bob; her grandchildren, Robert (Heidi) Lipton, Victoria (Nate) Murray, Rebecca (John) Moreira, and Katie Harris; and her great-granddaughter, Liliana Lipton. 

Renee will be remembered for her warmth, creativity, and love of family. She leaves behind a lifetime of cherished memories and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
