Celebrating the Life of Shaun Prince Ennin

Sunrise-October 17, 2008 – Sunset-June 22, 2026

With profound sadness and enduring love, we announce the passing of our beloved son, Shaun Prince Ennin, who left us far too soon at the age of 17. Though his time with us was very brief, Shaun lived a life marked by extraordinary purpose, brilliant intellect, and a heart completely dedicated to the service of all and everyone he met.

A Legacy of Brilliancy and Purpose

Shaun was a young man of exceptional character. He possessed a rare combination of sharp academic brilliance and deep humility. An achiever in every sense of the word, he was preparing to embark on his next big chapter at Northern Arizona University, where he had been accepted to study Computer Engineering.

Shaun’s academic exploits were never driven by personal ambition alone, but by a profound desire to change the world. With a deep passion for software engineering, he envisioned a future where technology could heal and protect. His ultimate dream was to design and build an innovative early-warning device to support and protect individuals living with seizures—a testament to his deeply empathetic soul and vision for a better world.

A Heart for Service

Shaun’s brilliance in the classroom was beautifully matched by his devotion to his faith and community. He was a vibrant, indispensable pillar at his local church, always leading with a spirit of selflessness. His desire to make an impact reached far beyond his immediate community, taking him on missionary trips to Mexico, where he worked tirelessly to bring hope, comfort, and practical aid to those in need. Whether serving locally or internationally, Shaun’s presence brought light and warmth to everyone he encountered.

Cherished Memories

Shaun’s legacy is one of boundless potential, kindness, and an unwavering commitment to leaving the world better than he found it. He leaves behind a heartbroken but immensely proud family, Spiritual grandparents, aunties, a host of friends, teachers, and a church community that will forever be inspired by his remarkable life.

While we grieve the future he did not get to fully realize on earth, we celebrate the incredible mark he left in our hearts. We will carry his memory forward by striving for the same standard of goodness and dedication that Shaun demonstrated every single day.
