Dana Lori Baslee, born on December 22, 1992, in Anaheim, California, and raised in Jefferson City, Missouri, passed away on August 21, 2026.

Dana was a caring and compassionate person who worked as a CNA at Fulton State Hospital. She had a heart for helping others and brought her own special energy and personality wherever she went.

Dana loved being a member of a local car club, hunting with her father, camping in the outdoors, enjoying country music and concerts, and, most of all, spending time with her friends and family. She was always up for an adventure and was the kind of person who could turn an ordinary moment into a memory worth keeping.

Dana always made us laugh. Her fun-loving spirit, infectious sense of humor, and willingness to do just about anything made her truly one of a kind. Her personality matched her hair color—always bright, bold, and fun.

Dana leaves behind memories filled with laughter, love, music, friendship, family, and countless moments that will be cherished forever. Her presence brought light and joy to the lives of those who knew and loved her.

Though she is no longer with us, Dana’s laughter, her vibrant spirit, and the love she shared will remain in our hearts.

Dana is remembered for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family. She leaves behind her father, Paul Baslee; mother, Lori Fornwalt-Hendricks; sister, Elisa Bennett; and her many cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, stepparents, and extended family, who will forever carry her memory in their hearts and cherish the beautiful life she shared with them. Preceded in death by her grandfathers Paul C Baslee and Donald Paul Fornwalt.

Dana will be forever loved, forever missed, and never forgotten.
