Darryl Lee Erickson

Darryl Erickson Age 77 went home to be with the Lord on October 7,2026. Darryl was a devoted servant of Christ, a loving husband and father.

Darryl was born on January 17, 1949 to Melvin and Beverly Erickson in St. Paul, Minnesota. He served in the Air Force. When he returned home, he continued schooling by attending the University of Minnesota and Iowa, where he received his bachelor’s degree. Later he would earn his master of science from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota.

During his life he worked as an engineer at various companies including IBM and Best Buy Geek Squad. He also was a professor of computer science at Dakota County Technical College.

In his free time Darryl loved to play cards and chess. He also loved to watch movies, tv shows, and especially football. In the summer he loved to travel with his family and friends. He was always willing to help others to solve their computer problems or any other problems that they may have had.

Darryl was preceded in death by Melvin and Beverly Erickson, mother and father in-law Kenneth and Verna Carpenter.

Darryl is survived by his wife Patricia, daughters Michelle (Robert), Melissa, his sister Bonnie (John), nephews Tim (Lynn), Tony (Shelley), Michael, and great nephews and nieces. Plus, extended family and friends.

The visitation, service, and lunch will be on Thursday October 22,2026 starting at 10:00 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church 2475 17th Ave East North St. Paul, MN 55109. Following the church service, Darryl will be laid to rest at Evergreen Memorial Gardens 3400 Century Ave North Mahtomedi, MN 55110
