John Barnes Blumer

Blumer, John B., age 99, of Maplewood. Passed away peacefully on June 7, 2026. Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lois; sons James and Jeffrey; parents Fred and Maude; sister Peggy; brother Boyd. Survived by son Paul; daughter Mary (Tom) Lyle; daughter-in-law Jeanine; grandchildren Lauren, Jake and Alex Lyle and many wonderful nieces and nephews. WWII U.S. Navy veteran. Memorial Service Monday July 6, 2026 at 11:00am with visitation 10:00am at First Evangelical Free Church of Maplewood. Private family burial at a later date at Ft. Snelling. Memorials preferred to First Evangelical Free Church or Gideons International.
