David J. Billig

David J. Billig, D.D.S, 85 years old, passed away September 6, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He graduated from Marquette University Dental School in 1966 and shortly afterward was deployed to serve in Vietnam with the Third Marine Division. He returned home a year later to his wife and their 4 month old daughter.

David had a dental practice in Jefferson for 30 years. He enjoyed traveling, bicycling, watching the Packers, Brewers, and the Badgers. His hobby was working with stained glass, and he enjoyed delivering Meals/Wheels for 22 years.

David is survived by his wife of 60 years, Barbara, his daughter Tracy (Jamie) Strand, son Robert (Robyn), granddaughter, Paige, brother-in-law, Bruce (Arlene) Lemke, nieces and nephews.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Marie Billig, and sisters Carol (twin) and Claudia Hofbauer.

David was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He will be deeply missed.

A private family visitation will be held.
