Marian I. Borck

Aug 2, 1929 — Sep 15, 2026

Marian I. Borck left this world in comfort, peace, and faith in her Lord with her son, Dale at her bedside on September 15, 2026. Art and Lilly Lipke welcomed Marian into their world on August 2, 1929 and raised her in Jefferson, Wisconsin. Art and Lilly were an active part of her life during the early years of the Borcks repair shop venture and shared pride in their daughter’s life.

Marian was united in holy matrimony on October 15, 1949 at St. John’s Lutheran Church with Everett Borck who proceeded her in death on February 3, 2005. As lifelong residents of Jefferson County, Everett and Marian made their home in rural Lake Mills for several years, working together in Borcks Garage located on highway 89 and had stepped up to operate the Jefferson Speedway during the 1960’s after the original owners tragically lost their lives in a traffic accident. Marian had also been employed at Bill Hoards’ Dairyman in Fort Atkinson and Willowbrook Nursing Home in Lake Mills.

She was a devoted active member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Jefferson over the years. She enjoyed proofreading the bulletins prior to services and joined the service provided by Ladies Aid for many years assisting at the gatherings held in the church, and being an avid watcher of St. John’s Lutheran Church on TV. In recent years, she enjoyed being at home as an avid “television news watcher” with an interest in what was on the Jefferson County Scanner to keep up with local “happenings”.

Marian is survived by her son Dale Borck, Grandchildren Ashley Baechle, Mabel Ann Punzel, Eric (Meghan) Krummen, and Nieces and Nephews Sandra Mascke, Steven Mascke, Sue Trumpf, Stewart Mascke, Byron Borck, Ronald Geyer, and Joy Lamb.

Family and friends will remember Marian as a warmhearted woman always ready to share a story, a smile, or lend a helping hand, and will miss the opportunity to spend future time with her.

Family and friends may pay their respects to her at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 215 E. Church Street Jefferson, Wisconsin on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 between the hours of 11:00AM – 11:45AM. A Funeral Service for Marian will begin at 12:00PM.

Following the service, Marian will be laid to rest at the Union Cemetery where she will once again be reunited with her husband, Everett in their final resting place.

Schneider-Michaelis Funeral Home has been entrusted with Marian’s arrangements.
