Roy Allen Wolff

Roy Allen Wolff, 78, of Watertown, Wisconsin, passed away on August 10, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Roy was born on November 25, 1947, in Watertown to Roy and June (Reese) Wolff. He grew up on a farm in Johnson Creek, where as a boy he loved fishing and spending time with his German Shepherd, Lola. He graduated from Jefferson High School in 1965.

On July 8, 1967, Roy married Sharon Schlesner. Together they shared 59 years of marriage and raised their two children, Jesse and Skye.

Roy was a veteran who served in the Wisconsin National Guard. He was a tradesman and a partner in a drywall business for many years. He also worked as a welder at Lindbergs, where he served as a union steward. Later, he gave his time to the community as a volunteer at Watertown Memorial Hospital.

Roy was an active member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church of Watertown, where he served on the church council and as an usher.

Outside of work, Roy enjoyed an active life. Roy and Sharon shared a love of motorcycle riding, taking many memorable trips together on their Harley, including to Canada and Niagara Falls. Roy was also an active member of the Rock River H.O.G. Chapter. He was an avid volleyball player, enjoyed a good game of Sheepshead, and liked watching football, especially his Green Bay Packers.

Roy loved spending time with family and friends. For all the places he traveled, one of Roy's favorite places was his own backyard, where he enjoyed sitting and watching the wildlife.

Roy was a loyal friend, an exceptionally hard worker, and a man who took seriously his responsibilities to his family. One friend remembered that Roy taught him how to work hard and have fun. His children and grandchildren also knew his playful side. He loved making funny faces and finding ways to make them laugh.

Roy is survived by his wife, Sharon Wolff; his son, Jesse Wolff and his wife, Angela Carrier, of San Francisco, California; his daughter, Skye Wolff, of Minneapolis, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Roman Wolff, Nyla Wolff, Madison Ostergren, Eli Wolff and Mia Maunu; and nieces, cousins, and other extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and June (Reese) Wolff; his sister, Barbara Schliewe; and his infant brother, James.

A Celebration of Life will be held for family and friends at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at Woodland Garden Homes Clubhouse, 121 Homestead Lane, Watertown, Wisconsin.
