Connie Dell Bean, 88, passed away August 13, 2026, at St. Luke's, Boise, Idaho. A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. at Ontario Community Church, 240 SE 3" Street, Ontario, OF 87914 with Pastor Tom Greco officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Shaffer Jensen Memorial Chapel, Payette, ID
Connie was born January 2, 1938, in Billings, Montana to Herman Charles Ice and Edith Louise (Clemans) Ice. She married Emest 'Ernie' Keith Bean on September 14, 1957, in Billings, Montana. She graduated Salutatorian Class of 1956 from Ryegate High School. Connie then attended Billings Business College, earning an associate's degree. Her first jobs were NW Insurance Company and Cobum School Supply in Billings, Montana.
Connie was Rainbow Girls Worthy Advisor-1956, Rainbow Girts Grand Assembly Page- 1967. Order of the Eastern Star- Isabel Curie and then Edna Hedges, and a member of 4-H.
The things that brought Connie the most joy in her life were her family and her faith in her Savior, Jesus Christ. Some of Connie's other favorite things were butterflies, angels and sunsets. She enjoyed gospel music, country western, barbershop quartet and especially the praise team when her son, Gary played drums, and daughter-in-law; Nora, and grandson Joshua sang.
She was born and raised in the country and preferred it to city life. Growing up she enjoyed country dances, going to church, and basketball games. Her favorite companion on the ranch was her dog, Shep
Connie also liked to travel. One of her favorite places being the Oregon coast. Her adventurous spirit led her to see concerts, PBR, and stock car races. She loved to go to car shows when her son entered his car or truck. On her list of to-dos was a hot air balloon ride and quote - "a few other things I haven't heard about yet."
Connie is survived by her daughter Debbie (Bean) Herman and son-in-law Robert Herman of Spotsylvania, Virginia; a son Gary Bean and daughter-in-law Nora Bean of Fruitland Idaho: Granddaughters Heather (McQ) Olsen and Jennifer (Kolby) Wood: grandsons Joshua Bean, Jonathan Herman, and Benjamin Herman. Great grandchildren Hallie Mai, Sadey Oisen, Tessa Oisen, Axel Wood and Sylar Wood. She was preceded in death by her husband Emie, her parents and sister Alice Hambelton.
