Brian Paul Thrash

Brian Thrash, 60 of Bluffton South Carolina formally Wyoming Pa passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, July 23. He was the son of the late Paul and Florence Thrash of Swoyersville and was a graduate of West Side Area Vocational School. He was previously employed by United Rehabilitation Services and Keystone Community Resources prior to moving to South Carolina where he worked at the Marine Corp Air Station in Beaufort. 

He participated and won medals in multiple Special Olympic activities including swimming, bowling and cross-country walking. He enjoyed weekends at the Hunting cabin with his best buddies, and golfing with family and friends. Brian could light up a room with his smile and was always ready with a big hug for everyone. He was the biggest Dallas Cowboys fan there was and supported his team no matter the outcome. 

He is survived by his sister Nancy Carey (Dave) Bluffton SC and his brother Mark (Lynn) Denver Pa. A memorial service will be held at St Therese’s Church Shavertown, Pa at a later date.
