Marie Frances Becvar
Oct 8, 1961 — Aug 18, 2026
Marie Frances Becvar, affectionately known to those closest to her as "Princess Frances," passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on August 18, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was 64 years old.
Marie was born on October 8, 1961, in Cleveland, Ohio, to her late parents, Dorthy and George Blazek Sr. Her stepfather, Donald Becvar, is also deceased. Marie later made her home in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.
Marie faced her illness with extraordinary courage, strength, and unwavering faith. Even during her most difficult days, she continued to trust in God's promises. Her words, "To live is Christ and to die is gain," reflected the faith that sustained her and brought comfort to everyone who loved her.
Marie will be remembered for her loving heart, remarkable strength, and devotion to her family. Her presence brought love and light into their lives, and the precious memories they shared with her will be treasured forever.
She was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Mike; a loving mother to her son, Michael; a cherished sister to her sister, Sandi Donafee; and other loving relatives and friends.
Although Marie's family is heartbroken by her passing, they find peace in knowing that she is no longer suffering and is now completely healed and at home with her Lord and Savior.
In accordance with Marie's and her family's wishes, there will be no public service. Her family will honor her life privately. The family kindly requests no flowers.
Marie was deeply loved and will be missed beyond words. Her courage, faith, and love will remain forever in the hearts of everyone who knew her.
"Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints." —Psalm 116:15, KJV
