Remembering a Life Well Lived

Mary Ann Cook was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and proud great-grandmother whose kindness and love touched all who knew her.

Mary Ann faithfully served her churches and community throughout her life. She was a teacher at Sherwood Elementary. She was known to be at one of the marinas or sailboat racing with Bill. In her community, she served at the Church of the Cross Food Bank, St. Mark’s Thrift Store, and was a member of the PEO organization with a warm smile and a servant’s heart.

She leaves behind her daughter, Cathy Cook Carey; daughter-in-law, Suzanne Cook; grandchildren, Johnathan, Victoria, Chelsea (Aaron), Devon (Nicholas), and Briana; and beloved great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William (Bill) Cook Sr., and her son, William (Billy) Cook Jr.

Her legacy of love will continue through all who know her.
