Annie Kuykendall

Annie Mae Kuykendall, beloved wife of the late Robert Eldred Marshall Sr., passed away peacefully on October 1, 2026 surrounded by her family. She was 97 years old.

Annie Mae was blessed with a long and beautiful life filled with many years, memories, and the love of family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Hattie Mae Gray; her uncles Johnnie and Jimmy Gray; her aunt Mattie Gray; siblings Willie Gray, Johnnie and Gloria Barnett; her granddaughters Nyesha Marshall and Sacha Brown; son-in-law Monroe Covington, and bonus daughter Belinda Lodge.

To cherish her memory, she leaves her children Sheryl Jean Anderson (Ladson, SC), Robert Eldred Marshall Jr and wife Angela (Stockton, CA), and Demetria Ann Covington (Summerville, SC); goddaughter Sheila Davis (Dallas, TX); grandchildren Roman Eldred Marshall, Consuelo “Connie” Lodge (San Diego, CA), Tinisha Bookhart and husband Steven (Charlotte, NC), Agunew Ladson III and wife Breyontay (Columbia, SC), LaToya Marshall (Stockton, CA), Rhealyn Marshall (Dallas, TX), Tameron Marshall (Midland, TX), Danese and Donese King (Midland, TX). She has a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
