Brian Fischer, born June 18, 1968, of Summerville, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2026.

Brian was born and raised on Long Island, New York, and was the beloved son of his late parents, Carol and William. He grew up alongside his siblings, William and Maureen, sharing a lifetime of fond family memories.

Throughout his life, Brian walked a path deeply rooted in faith, dedicating his days to following God’s calling. He served many years in children’s and youth ministry. He was a man of immense heart, and he considered his greatest, proudest achievement in life, second only to marrying his best friend and love of his life Barbara, to be his profound commitment to taking care of children in need. As a devoted foster father, Brian provided safety, love, and a guiding light to many, leaving an undeniable legacy of compassion and selflessness.

Brian was the proud and loving father of five daughters: Emily, Taylor, Delaney, Madison, and Victoria. He cherished his family above all else and was happiest when surrounded by those he loved.

A vibrant soul, Brian had a passion for soccer, roller skating, and blasting his favorite 80s music. His unwavering love for God, his joyful spirit, and his dedication to his family will be deeply missed but forever celebrated by all who knew him.

A celebration of life will be held at Grace Christian Fellowship at 261 Treeland Drive in Ladson, SC on Saturday, July 18 with visitation at 2:00 pm followed by a service at 3:00pm.
