Deborah Alantzini

Deborah Alantzini, 62, passed away on September 5th, 2026. A memorial will be held on September 11th, 2026 from 2pm to 4pm at Simplicity in Ladson.

She is survived by her husband, Christian; her mother, Rose; her children: Melissa, James, and Amanda; her grandchildren: Savanna, Landon, Adrian, Weston and Aurelia; her brother Michael his wife Kelly their two children Jordan and Karissa; her brother David and his wife Amy and their two children Taylor and Andrew, and many more loved ones.

Debbie was a free spirit who is difficult to describe in only a few words. She was outspoken, opinionated, artistic, social, and full of personality. She loved the color yellow, enjoyed being around people, and had a way of making her presence known wherever she went. Throughout her life she was an avid and sometimes professional photographer, who had an eye for beautiful things.

Debbie had an Associates Degree in CAD Drafting from Ivy Tech Community College in Indiana, an Associates Degree in Arts and Photography from Trident Technical College in South Carolina. She attended Charleston Southern University. She was also in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's in Science in Social Work Degree at the University of South Carolina before returning to her CAD drafting career. She was a member of Phi Theta Kappa and Psi-Chi honors societies, as well as serving as a volunteer Guardian ad Litem for Berkeley County Family Court.

Over the years, Alzheimer’s slowly took away so much of the person her family knew. Those who loved her will remember the pieces of her that existed long before the disease—the outspoken woman, the artist, the woman who loved to talk and laugh, a woman that always took the path less traveled and marched to her own beat.

She will be remembered not only for the life she lived, but for all the little pieces of life she thought were worth saving.
