It is with great sadness that the Family of Dorothy Ann Diets announce that she went home to be with the Lord on Monday October 26, 2026. Dorothy was born on February 10, 1946 in Big Stone Gap, Virginia to Quentin & Cleo Collier.

Dorothy is survived by her children Vickie Hill (Richard) and Franklin Mullins Jr. Her brother Quentin Collier Jr and sister Donna Shannon, her Grandchildren Heather Scott (Terry), Erika De Sheers (Jerome), Brandon Mullins, Taylor Mullins, Kelsey Sadler (Stephen) and Christopher Goldbach and 13 Great Grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life Wayne Thomas Diets, her parents Cleo & Quentin Collier Jr, her children Christopher Mullins and Angela Goldbach, her Grandson Jordan Mullins, her siblings Billy, Robert, Doug and Charles “Alan” Collier.

Dorothy was a devoted wife to her late husband Wayne and a deeply loving Mother to her children. However, the role that brought her the greatest joy was being a doting grandmother and great grandmother. She spent her life creating a warm home filled with love, laughter, wisdom and memories that will last a life time and not to mention the smell of her baking and gospel music flowing through her home. She was a strong woman of God and she will be forever remembered and missed.
