Edwina "Wendy" Rochelle Goodier
Aug 26, 1962 — Aug 9, 2026
In Loving Memory of Edwina “Wendy” Rochelle Goodier
Edwina Rochelle Goodier, affectionately known as Wendy and lovingly called Mimi by her grandchildren, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2026.
Wendy was born in Crossville, Tennessee, to Betty and Edward Marquez. She was the oldest of five siblings and was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, partner, and friend.
Wendy had a heart that was bigger than words could describe. She was a kind and caring person who found joy in helping others and taking care of the people she loved. She had a way of making people feel cared for, and her generosity and compassion touched the lives of so many around her.
She loved the simple things that brought her joy. Wendy loved to cook, spend time gardening, and go fishing. But above all else, she loved her family. Her children and grandchildren were the center of her world, and she cherished every moment she was able to spend with them.
Wendy was a devoted mother to her three children, Brandi Larue Traynham, Anna Lynn Harrison, and Douglas Alan Traynham. She was also a beloved Mimi to Emmy Traynham, Ashton Crowe, Brycin Crowe, Rayna Traynham, Wyatt Harrison, Liam Harrison, and Corbin Traynham, whom she loved more than anything.
She is also survived by her partner, Robert Charles Gay, and her siblings, Michelle Marquez, Shane Marquez, Barry Marquez, and Juan Marquez.
Those who knew Wendy will remember her for her loving heart, her kindness, her willingness to help others, and the love she poured into her family. Her absence will leave an emptiness that cannot be filled, but the love she gave so freely will live on through her children, grandchildren, family, and all those fortunate enough to have known her.
Her greatest legacy is the love she gave—and the love she leaves behind.
