Jeffrey Llewellyn Miller, 68, of Ladson, SC, passed away Monday, April 27, after a sudden illness.
He was born Jan. 11, 1958, at York Hospital, PA, and was raised in the Pigeon Hills by his parents, Llewellyn and Beverly (Golden) Miller. Jeffrey worked at Madison Square Furniture in Hanover after graduating from York County Vo-Tech. Following some health issues, he worked as a janitor for the HART Center in New Oxford and later at Bell Socialization in York.
A very hard worker, he loved being outside—mowing the yard, cutting and splitting firewood, gardening, woodworking, fishing, hunting, and snow removal.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Beverly, and his father, Llewellyn. He is survived by his wife, Kathy (Snyder) Miller; daughters, Emily Becker (Sascha) and Dawn Miller; and granddaughter, Zoey Browning. He is also survived by his sisters, Laura Hostetter, Lisa Blevins, Miranda Arnold, and Rosemary Baker; his brother, Timothy Miller; his mother-in-law, Kathryn Snyder; and his brothers-in-law, Lee Snyder and Tim Snyder.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, June 23, at 6:30 p.m. at Zion United Methodist Church in East Prospect, PA.
