Kathleen Marie Mccaddin

Nov 28, 1971 — Nov 3, 2025

Kathleen “Kathy” Marie McCaddin, 53, a cherished daughter, sister, aunt, godmother, and friend, passed away unexpectedly November 3, 2025, in Charleston, South Carolina. She was surrounded by loving friends and family during her final moments.

Born on November 28, 1971, in Somerspoint, New Jersey to parents John and Patricia McCaddin, Kathy was a vibrant spirit who touched the lives of everyone who knew her.

Kathy grew up in Toms River, New Jersey and graduated from Monsignor Donovan High School. She later went on to attend Seton Hall University where she graduated with a Communications degree in 1994. Early on, she loved her onscreen role hosting a local cable show with Adelphia and Time Warner.  In 1998, she made the bold move to pack up her car, along with her sister Suzanne, and head for Los Angeles, CA. She was pursuing her dream of becoming an actress. She even starred in major shows such as “General Hospital” and the popular sitcom “Friends.”  Her dedication and talent led her to become a proud member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG). She was also a part-owner of Suzy’s Bar and Grill in Hermosa Beach, California. She later held a career in sales and interior design in South Carolina.

Kathy had a lifelong passion for music, the arts, gardening, and cooking. She was a devoted live music fan, and her heart and soul danced with every concert she attended. Depeche Mode has a forever place in her heart.

She is survived by her loving parents, John McCaddin and Patricia McCaddin, her devoted sister, Suzanne McCaddin, brother-in-law, Keith Sanchez, her beloved nephew and godson, Kyle Sanchez, her cousins Kim and Lisa, and her godson, Liam.

A small service will be held at Simplicity Low Country 281 Treeland Dr. Ladson, SC at 10 AM on December 18, 2025.
