Mark Anthony Keefer

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mark Anthony Keefer, 52, of Hanahan, South Carolina, who departed this life on Sunday, July 26, 2026.

Mark was born on October 17, 1973, in Charleston, South Carolina, to Larry Keefer and Claudia Hughes. He was a beloved son, father, brother, uncle, and friend to many. Mark was known for his loving nature, generous heart, and the joy he found in bringing happiness to children, especially his own. His kindness, laughter, and unwavering love for his family will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Mark is survived by his children, Priscilla Keefer, Mark Adam Keefer, and Aaron Keefer; his sister, Karen; and his brother, Brian. He also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory.

A celebration of Mark's life will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Simplicity Cremation and Burial, 281 Treeland Drive, Suite C, Ladson, SC 29456. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., and all who knew and loved Mark are welcome to attend and pay their respects.

Mark Anthony Keefer will be deeply missed, but his love, compassion, and the memories he created with those around him will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
