Tamara “Tami” G. Blanchard passed away on September 27, 2026, in Summerville, South Carolina, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was 66.
Tami was funny, outgoing, and full of personality. She loved being surrounded by her children, family, and friends, and she had a gift for making time together feel special. She enjoyed watching sports and proudly held the family title of “Queen Bookie.” Her humor, lively spirit, and the love she gave so freely will be deeply missed.
Tami was preceded in death by her mother, Donna Turek. She is survived by her father, Wayne Nettles; her sisters, Kala (Don) Dickinson, Teri Barker, and Kelli (Joe) Acosta; her husband, Joseph Wells; her children, Tracey Jeffreys, Christopher Blanchard, and Kevin (Mandy) Blanchard; and her grandchildren, Dawson, Mason, Marisa, Hunter, Hailey, Adalyn, Ali, and Chase.Tami’s life was so much more than her illness. It was filled with laughter, friendships, family gatherings, and countless moments of showing the people around her how much they mattered. Those who loved her will carry her voice, her humor, and her love with them always.Tami was a dedicated employee at Cullum Mechanical, where she worked in accounting for 20 years. Her colleagues will miss her deeply.
A celebration of Tami’s life will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Tracey’s home in Ladson. For the address, please contact a family member by phone, text, or Facebook Messenger.
